It is the fiber and strength of a confident soul.

Hold on to Hope,
It banishes doubt and enables attitudes to be positive and cheerful.

Hold on to Trust,
It is the core of fruitful relationships that are secure and content.

Hold on to Love,
It is life's greatest gift of all, for it shares, cares and gives meaning to life.

Hold on to your dreams,
Achieve them diligently and honestly.
Never take the easy way or surrender to deceit.

Hold on to Family and Friends,
They are the most important people in your life,
and they make the world a better place.
They are your roots and the beginnings that you grew from.
They are the vine that has grown through time to nourish you & help you on your way.

Hold on to all the things you are, and all the things you have learnt.
For those are the things that make you unique.
Don’t ignore what you feel and what you believe to be right and important.
Your heart has a way of speaking louder than your mind.

The WhitePepper Fall/Winter 2013

British fashion label The WhitePepper lays down a square foundation for Fall/Winter 2013. Influenced by pixels, grids and geometric shapes, this indie brand brings us a fresh and youthful range of street wear where chic simplicity reigns. The WhitePepper has been favored by Grazia, Glamour and Look magazines for their affordability and ability to instantly update your wardrobe with just one piece.

This season, fashion and functionality meet on the corner of clean lines and classic silhouettes, where volume is key. Prints are trendily set in black and white checks, navy and burgundy plaid and leopard print. Pastel pink babydoll frocks and timeless black and cream shifts are delightfully styled with quirky unicorn bags, cartoon glasses and gem sparkled tights. The WhitePepper have also added shoes to their list of design talents, with chunky leather loafers, cut-out brogues and platform ankle boots adding a heavyweight contrast to the feminine midi skirts and floaty smock dresses.

This is a look into The WhitePepper's charming Fall/Winter 2013-14 collection.

Red Carpet - American Music Awards 2013

Red Carpet Fashion
American Music Awards 2013

The annual American Music Award's took place last night in LA, where the crazies contained themselves and the red carpet remained pretty calm and uneventful. This is a round up of the must-see outfits from the event. Click on the pictures for a larger view.

Pop!Stars
Katy Perry made a sweeping appearance in a black and white spotted ballgown adorned with floral embroidery by Oscar de la Renta. Adding the cuteness factor, she carried an Olympia La Tan book clutch. Rihanna went risqué in a black bustier with sheer tulle and lace skirt by Jean Paul GaultierKe$ha should be commended for cleaning up this well. The usually disheveled singer looked quite refined in a black Michael Costello gown with ruffled waist detail and one-shouldered bodice. But it was her pastel rainbow hair stole the show. Jennifer Lopez dazzled in a sheer bronzed embellished mermaid dress by Zuhair Murad.

Short-Lived
TV host Keltie Knight doubled up as an ice skater in this glittery Sherri Hill dress with playful feathered skirt. Taylor Swift smoldered in a shiny gold Julian MacDonald mini dress with illusion triangle cut-out bodice and strappy Jimmy Choo sandals. Carly Steel wore a bottle green embellished Hervé Léger dress. Friday Frills

It’s not having everything go right,
It’s facing whatever goes wrong.
It’s not being without fear,
It’s having the determination to go on in spite of it.

It’s not about where you stand,
But the direction you’re going in.
It’s more than never having bad moments;
It’s knowing you are always bigger than the moment.

It’s believing you have already been given everything you need to handle life.
It’s not being able to rid the world of all its injustices;
It’s being able to rise above them.
It’s the belief in your heart that there will always be more good than bad in the world.

Remember to live just this one day,
And not add tomorrow’s troubles to today’s load.
Remember that every day ends
And brings a new tomorrow full of exciting new things.
